Free family fun in San Antonio! When the weekend comes around my family and I are ready to rip and run, explore and have fun. We enjoy doing things as a family, the downside is that it can get a bit pricey! Since were on a strict budget I try to search for free family friendly activities for us to enjoy. The Farmers Market At The Cibolo has a free admission every Saturday from 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Opportunity to learn about organic vegetable gardening as well as other natural foods and products.

The Institute of Texan Cultures is offering a free admission to all museum visitors on August 25,2013. In support of the Texas Vietnam Heroes exhibit. Museum hours are from noon - 5 p.m. Learn about Texas rich and vibrant culture and enjoy exhibits for the hole family.

Garden Scavenger Hunt at the Jingu House at The Japanese Tea Garden. This began on August 13,2013 - August 31,2013. This is a fun activity for the entire family. You can pick up your game at the Jingu House Cafe and locate the flora,fauna and fish throughout the garden.
